Junta de Verano by Pedro y Juana

Pedro&Juana reorganize AGO Projects’ universe of humans and non-humans through the logic of their own workplace: at the center of the gallery, a meeting room; around it, a garden. A semi-transparent refuge for anyone in need of a little quiet. Inside stands La Patona, a table that brings people together. From there, visitors can observe the objects—created by many friends of AGO—displayed on the Margarito bookshelf. Outside, the garden wraps around the room: an inverted courtyard where the room takes the place of the patio, and the portico becomes a garden of potted plants, lamps, and chairs from which to watch Mexico City’s rainy summer afternoons unfold.

Summer Meeting is Pedro&Juana’s gesture to AGO Projects for the rainy afternoons of the season: objects by Pedro&Juana, never before shown in Mexico, presented alongside a selection of pieces from the AGO universe.
